Here for this.

All want their lives to count for something
To leave their mark when life is through
But vain pursuits will count for nothing
time will erase what e're we do.

I want my life to count for Jesus
For earthly things will quickly fade
No need to add to worldly riches
I only seek eternal gain.

Inside my heart there burned a question
What was I placed on earth here for
It truly was to build a Kingdom
Not of my own but for the Lord.

Awhile back I was having one of those "discouraged" kind of days. Those ones where you wonder if what you do and who you are is really important or effective at all. This is the song that came to mind - the words are so simple, but it left a calm in my heart. Read them slowly and be inspired.

We all have days like that, Anna. Yesterday was one of those days for me. I thought, "Who is going to remember or even care that I washed this window in ten years?" As I was reading my Bible a little later, this verse really spoke to me: "Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak; for your work shall be rewarded." God sees everything that you do and He cares!
