Only As A Mom | 12 Reasons It's Hilarious and Humbling

Do you start your day at 3:00 AM, and again at 5:30 AM, and again at 7:00...

Only as a mom...

Do you gratefully savour a cup of ice cold coffee, in your bathrobe at 1:00 in the afternoon.

Only as a mom...

Do you receive a smile as payment and feel completely repaid.

Only as a mom...

Do you wear old clothes, work like a horse, wear your hair like you're homeless...and receive a standing ovation for walking into the room. #YAAAAAAAAAY!!

Only as a mom...

Do you play the role of Secretary, Full Time Nanny, Professional Chef, House Maid,  Piano Teacher, Fitness Coach, and Tamer of Unhappy Babies - ALL AT THE SAME TIME, IN THE SAME DAY. #likeaboss

Only as a mom...

Do you put together a wholesome lunch for your kids, then eat a spoonful of peanut butter because you're in the middle of paperwork and don't have time.

Only as a mom...

Do you hear all that banging on the piano as beautiful music.

Only as a mom...

Is your heart this full, your arms this full, your brain this full, your laundry hamper this full, your dishwasher this full, your days this full - and, miraculously, there's always just enough room for a little bit more...  because you're Mom, and you're amazing.

Only as a mom...

Do you render "The ABC's" loudly, and off-key just to get a giggle from a grumpy two year old with bed head.

Only as a mom...

Do you count "Ketchup" as a serving of vegetables. (I'm kidding...)

Only as a mom...

Does your heart sink when you hear a cabinet door open in the next room.

Only as a mom...

Do you find it so satisfying to rock a baby to sleep. They're happy, you're happy. #motheroftheyearaward

Only as a mom...

Do you volunteer to have tea parties with guests who you know are going to spill their tea everywhere, and will probably end up standing on the table, waiting for you to get back with more.

Only as a mom...

Do you realize that time actually does go way too fast. Just like your Mom always said it did.

Only as a mom...

Do you learn to love every tiny moment, and seal it away in your heart as invaluable.

CAN YOU PLEASE do a tutorial on your cute hair bows and tips on getting children to keep them in. I might have to put a wig on Ella, though, since she has no hair. ;)

This is so beautiful. That picture of Haven made me laugh - what a cutie!
