I Done Got Awarded :)

1.  If you could have an expenses-paid vacation to anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? Ooh, that's tough... The people you see on the trip are what "make or break" any vacation. So, really, I don't have a particular place in mind, just an experience. Friendly chatter can happen anywhere. :D

2.  What would you like to accomplish by the end of 2014? Hmm...Mostly, I just want to "Be all there" (courtesy of Jim Elliot) in every situation God brings me to. I'm excited to find out (and fulfill) the plans He has laid out for me this year.

Other than that, I have few trips planned, already + I'm going to have my graduation ceremony + there's few projects I'd like to work on. (Like, possibly setting up an Etsy shop for denim skirts - they are RIDICULOUSLY scarce in Wisconsin.) Anyhoo:

3.  What was the last song you heard? "Yesterday's Battles Are Today's Victories."

4.  What was the last food you ate? Some oven-baked chicken. (Delectable.)

5.  Last part of the Bible you read? Job 22

6.  What is the best advice on life you can give in up to 3 sentences? God is the same yesterday, today and forever - time hasn't changed Him, and He wants to be real in your life. Give your all questions, and your problems to Him, then have faith that He will fulfill His promises. From experience, I can say that you'll be AMAZED at how He honors His word in every situation.

7.  Are you a morning person or night owl? Please...let me sleep.

8.  What is your dream car? Eh...one that's good on gas, and looks cute. (Typical girl response. Haha!)

9.  Do you have a favorite plant or flower? Gotta love Queen Anne's Lace :)

10. What cause(s) are you most opinionated about? My Christian stand.

11.  Is there any quality you think the Lord is growing in you right now (e.g., patience, love, trust)? Patience and Faith. Sometimes you can't see (or understand) the things that are going on in your life - but you don't need to. Ask God for guidance...and wait for it. It may be a little while in coming, but He's always on time.

Now. I hereby tag four friends to do the same thing...

Kaitlynn - The Sanger Family (I admire your creativity and maturity. You do a great job keeping up with the blog!)

Virginia - Virginia's Niche (I enjoy reading about your decorating ventures/Jason growing up/what's happenin' in your life. You're a special friend:)

Bethany - Everyday Memiors (Love your writing style, Bethany. I can sympathize with your sarcasm in SO many ways. lol)

Zoe - The Little Girl (Thanks for being such a good friend! Your prayers are appreciated, and I love being able to laugh with you. :D I enjoy the updates and pictures, since I can't see you as often as I'd like.)

The rules for those of you who would like to participate....
Fill out the list questions ((below)), then nominate ((up to)) eleven people. Have fun!

The questions...

1. Field trip! Ask someone close-by for two words to describe you.
2. Thinking of Bible characters, who are you most like? (Esther, Ruth, Naomi, Zipporah, Rebekah, Sarah, Rachel...)
3. Your favorite song?
4. If there were no calorie-counting involved, what dessert would you run into the kitchen and make?
5. What's something you've always dreamed of being?
6. What's something you've laughed about today?
7. You're shopping at the mall. You've found a super-cute shirt that looks absolutely radiant with your complexion. You've also found a to-die-for pair of shoes - but you don't have enough money for both. Which would you pick?
8. When you're feeling blue, what cheers you up?
9. What's something wonderful that's about to happen in your life?
10. How would you encourage someone who is reading your blog? You have three sentences. Ready...Set...Go!
11. What's one thing on your summer bucket list:

Trips planned? sounds like fun!

Also like your idea of making an Etsy shop for denim skirts; it is *so* hard finding denim skirts I like that I just make my own even though when I sew it seems like I take more stitches out than I put in...definitely don't do it for the pleasure ;)

Excellent advice on life!
