Life In General

I've found that life is an unkind, harsh thing that is forever knocking me over. It's discouraging, and rough, and full of earthly things - the which I am coming more and more, to dislike. Sometimes life seems really hopeless, very repetative and full of threatening storm clouds. There are pleasures in it, but there is never any "and they lived happily ever after".

Life is a place where we are moulded, and grated, and rough edges are sanded off of our Christian lives. Here we suffer, and are sad, but through all of the suffering and sadness, we have an inner joy, a peace, because we know that our suffering is part of a "bigger plan."

I honestly don't know how people who are not Christians can cope with life. There is no point in life, no real reason for living, without God. People strive for riches, fame and glory, but after they are done striving, and have earned a few years of wealth and power, they die and lose everything.

As Christians, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. We are more than conquerors, even though we are nothing in ourselves.

I am constantly amazed at how God provides for me, when I need comfort, encouragement, He's EVERYTHING I need. I could tell so many stories about how God has provided, and came through just in time. I love Him so much.

Life is able to knock you over, and the Lord is able to help pick you back up.

I too have wondered how anyone survives the teenage years without Christ.

Now that's depressing.

Love to you! God is everything...He's so good.
